The Biketober Rally is an event held each year in Cave Creek, Arizona. People come from across the country and around the world for motorcycles, live music, craftspeople showing their products, food and a chance to visit the historic Cave Creek community and the beautiful surroundings.

Founded in 1998, the Biketober Rally has become one of the biggest and the best of all the biker-related events held across the country. In 2018, it will be held on Oct. 19-21.

Biketober Rally Started As A Party

The Biketober Rally is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. This “old-school” rally has kept to its roots. The first party offered bikers the chance to have a scenic ride to Cave Creek and “gather with fellow riders from all over the valley for a good time,” according to the event’s Facebook page.

That first rally marked the opening of the World Famous Hideaway Grill, a haven for bikers. The event in October celebrated the opening each year with an anniversary party. Now, it’s grown into a rally that attracts thousands from around the world.

The Hideaway now hosts the rally, Bike Week in February and the builder’s showcase in February.

At The Rally

Many of the elite bike builders will attend the event. Music, food, rides, prizes and fun is also on tap. Events include showcases of products, including specialty knives from Krudo Knives.

Representatives from Krudo also plan to attend the Bike Week event in March 2019, also held at Cave Creek.

The main draw of both events is the great community that comes together in one place for a weekend, sharing stories and catching up since the last event. It’s also held in one of the most unique spots in the whole country.

Cave Creek

Part of the fun in attending the event is the amazing ride to Cave Creek. Once there, the area offers a lot to do.

The area has a rich western history. Horse lovers still live there. It’s also a destination spot for bikers because of the beautiful scenery. It’s likely one of the only places in America where you will see a wild west festival, rodeo, and biker events all in one place.

“Whether it has four hooves or two tires, Cave Creek is the place to see them in all their shiny array,” according to the Cave Creek site.

The area is in the beautiful Sonora Desert and just 45 miles outside Phoenix, for those who want to visit the city on the way in or the way out.

For bikers, the Biketober Rally has become one of the best destinations every year.
