Congratulations on your purchase of a KRUDO Knife.

Warranty

All KRUDO knives have a warranty against manufacturer defects for the life of the item. This warranty is void if the knife has been abused beyond normal wear and tear or used beyond what are considered the normal parameters for a folding or fixed blade knife. It is up to the discretion of KRUDO Knives whether to refuse, repair or replace damaged or defective items.

Make sure to register your KRUDO Knives product.

KRUDO Knives will repair, replace, at KRUDO Knives discretion, any product covered under warranty. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, misuse, alteration, abuse, jumping into a pool or ocean with your knife or failure to read or follow instructions.

Repair / replacement may take up to 2 weeks after receiving product.

KRUDO Knives makes no other warranties unless prohibited by applicable state law.

The warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and all other warranties, expressed or implied, are excluded and do not apply to sales of KRUDO Knives product for a particular use. Liability for incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of KRUDO Knives products is expressly disclaimed and excluded.

Your KRUDO knife is a knife, not a chisel, screwdriver, pry bar or hammer, and it is not intended for use as such. KRUDO knives are not designed for throwing. Do not use a KRUDO knife in any of these capacities or anything that is not its intended use.

This warranty is void if folding or fixed blade knife is disassembled.

We do have lifetime warranties, but keep in mind that this warranty does not cover an item that is damaged by misuse, alterations, customization, improper maintenance, neglect, abuse, swimming with it, accident (Oops, I dropped it), or normal wear and tear as determined at our discretion.

Unconditional Pocket Clip Warranty

Pocket clips can be broken if they are accidentally caught on foreign objects while wearing. To help prevent such occurrences, KRUDO KNIVES recommends that you wear your knife in your front pocket, with the knife inside your pocket. If, for whatever reason, your clip bends or breaks and you would like to receive a replacement email/call KRUDO Knives warranty department. Damage to a knife handle because a clip has snagged is not considered “normal,” and any such damage will be assessed under warranty. Damaging the pocket clip threads, on the frame, due to over torquing is not covered under the warranty.

Care and Maintenance

Care is always required to insure the maximum potential that your knife can provide for you. Clean the knife periodically and lubricate the blade pivot area and blade ( fixed blades also ) with light oil, especially after exposure to salt water, pool water, sweat or an acidic environment. Do not swim or shower with your knife.

Implied Warranty

KRUDO Knives will not be responsible for careless handling, unsafe use and assumes no responsibility for incidental or consequential damages, with respect to economic loss or injury to property. Some states do not allow the exclusion for limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

Sharpening Recommendations

We recommend that you sharpen your KRUDO knife the old fashioned way, on a bench mounted stone or diamond lap. The chisel ground blades should be sharpened on the beveled side only, and never sharpened on the flat side.. Never use a motorized or power driven sharpening device. It will ruin your blade.
