Every year, we at KRUDO Knives gear up to attend conventions and expos around the country that knife owners enjoy. While we can’t make every event, there are a few that we always plan to attend.

Three of those are listed below. Whether it’s one of the biggest events of the year hosted by the National Rifle Association or the fun Bike Week in Arizona, these are some of the events that we think knife owners would enjoy attending.

Look for the KRUDO Knives exhibit at any of the following if you make it to the event!

National Rifle Association Annual Meeting

The National Rifle Association (NRA) holds an annual meeting in a different city each year. The huge event attracts political leaders and celebrities. It also gives those who attend a chance to “rub shoulders with tens of thousands of other Second Amendment patriots,” as noted by the NRA website.

More than 800 exhibitors attend the meeting each year. They give NRA members a chance to see the latest in guns, knives and other items. This truly is the biggest event of the year, with more than 15 acres of “guns and gear.”

The meeting also offers plenty of seminars where attendees can learn about topics such as:

  • Concealed carry fundamentals
  • How to interact with law enforcement
  • Crime prevention strategies
  • Introduction to reloading
  • Women and the gun buying experience
  • Snipers in World War II

You can also learn about NRA programs geared for women, kids, hunters and officers. The meeting features live music and visits from celebrities and politicians. For example, President Donald Trump spoke at the 2018 convention in Dallas.

The 2019 NRA Annual Meeting is scheduled for April 26-28 in Indianapolis.

Cave Creek Bike Week

The emphasis at the annual Cave Creek Bike Week in Arizona is on fun, hanging out with good friends and, of course, motorcycles. It’s an old-school bike rally that’s been happening in Cave Creek for two decades.

Cave Creek is about 45 miles outside of Phoenix in the Sonora Desert. Just the drive to Bike Week provides gorgeous views. The event centers around the Hideaway Grill, a legendary biker bar “somewhere in Cave Creek,” and The Roadhouse, which Google very accurately describes as a “chill pit stop.”

The Cave Creek Bike Week event features vendors, too, like KRUDO Knives. There also have premiere motorcycle builders on hand, biker games, plenty of live music and food and drink specials. But the real attraction to this fantastic event is the great people who come every year, sharing stories, renewing old friendships and making new ones.

The 2019 event is scheduled for March 29 through April 7.

ILEETA Conference and Expo

The International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA) Conference and Expo offer those who attend a chance to learn the latest in topics such as defensive tactics, use of force, officer survival and specialized training and firearms. You must be an ILEETA member to attend.

ILEETA focuses on reducing the risk to law enforcement officers through enhanced training. As the organization notes on its website, they are “fully committed to the saving of lives through the development and delivery of high-quality training.”

The organization supports the education of those who train law enforcement officers, teaching them the latest skills and techniques. Members of ILLEETA include those who working in the training and education of the criminal justice community.

The conference includes more than 150 training courses. Exhibitors also are invited to share the latest on their products, technology and services. The 2019 conference is scheduled for March 18-23 in St. Louis.
